January 1, 2010 - Chicago, Illinois — Carosh Media and Marketing LLC has formed to provide media, publishing and related marketing services to the home health care and hospice industries. Through the use of its innovative e-learning platform, Carosh plans to develop a robust catalog of continuing education and business-oriented online courses to satisfy the training needs of management and human resource professionals within state health associations. Additional e-learning opportunities will be provided through live, online streaming presentations by industry professionals and a variety of other live webinar events. In addition, Carosh will promote and market its content to the post-acute care industry, which has been previously unseen in the industry.
“e-Learning is gaining lots of momentum with a variety of venders that are currently in the marketplace,” said Tim Rowan, Carosh founder, executive vice-president and publisher. “Much of this is stimulated, in part, by the growing number of states having established certification and continuing education requirements. Our goal is to provide a full catalog of services, on a private label basis to our association partners. We aim to help our partners with promoting and strengthening their brand and member base.”
Being a well-known publisher of newsletters and an in-demand speaker in the industry, Rowan has joined with James Carr, vice-president and CFO. Carr has more than twenty years of experience in advertising, media and financing. To round out the team of founders, Rowan has also joined forces with President and CEO Roger Shindell who has more than 20 years of experience in technology and marketing.
“I am happy with the formation of Carosh and our ability to bring together the experience founded in this management team,” said Rowan. “For a group such as ours, it is the right move at the right time to enter the marketplace with what, I believe, is a superior offering.” Having completed development of our e-learning platform, Carosh is in the process of expanding its senior management team and putting the finishing touches on its first offerings to the market.
